Patriots win because the Steelers are horrible on the road this year. Also, the Steeler schedule is one of the weakest this year inflating their record. One could make a similar argument against the Patriots but the Pats have beaten the 1) Chargers 2) Cowboys 3) Colts legitimizing their elite play. Steelers best team the have beaten are the cinderella Browns...nuff said. Patriots win and probably win by more than the 10 point spread.

seems to me steelers have been that cocky before and got their butts beat by my patriots....the truth is both teams match up well and its going to be a good game.......i think my patriots stand a pretty good chance of winning......am i arrogant enough to think we will clobber steelers...no way....i have respect for their talent.......i am not naive.....but i do have a lot of faith in my boys...so steelers bring it on!!!! Patriots are the Hawaii of the NFL. Combined record of the teams they've beaten...68-76. I've said before, they struggled against poor teams, and they only reason they won is that they got lucky...Feeley choking it up for Philly; penalties, timeouts and questionable calls for Baltimore. And that was against the 18th and 12th ranked defenses (19 and 15 against the pass). Now they have to go up against Pittsburgh, which leads the league in every defense category except rushing (by 6 yards). With Davenport back (fingers crossed), the Steelers will have a very effective one-two punch to use the clock and keep Brady and Moss on the sidelines. That's what the Steelers do best, they play good defense, then they use up time (most time of possession in the league). They run (3rd in the league) and use short passes. Hopefully Dick Lebeau watches the Philly and Baltimore tapes closely. Those games showed the Patriots are open to a team that plays them tough. If you get pressure to Brady (5th in sacks) he doesn't perform and completes less than 50% of his passes.

Oh, and don't confuse one player with the whole team.

I'm neither a Steelers or Patriots fan, but I'm going to have to go with the Patriots. I'm not saying I wouldn't like to see the Steelers win, but I just don't see them going into Foxboro and knocking off the Patriots. They lost to the Cardinals, Broncos, and Jets on the road, and if you can't beat those teams in their backyard, what makes them think they will be able to march into Foxboro and take down the Patriots. It's should be a great game, but I just don't see the Steelers pulling it off.
Patriots will snap out of the slump they have been in the last couple weeks and cover the spread.
Steelers - because I believe it's going to be a repeat of them ending the Pats winning streak (like they did back in 2004).

They are ready for them, and the Pats are looking a little peaked lately (evident in the Eagles and Ravens game) where they sneaked by in those wins.

No doubt, it'll be a battle. The Pats are an awesome football team; but I think the Steelers will surprise all and prevail.

i heard thats what somebody said, but, i have to say i think the Pats are gonna continue to win, i just dont think steelers can bring what it takes.

I'm not making any predictions about the ************. I have too much respect for both teams. But I would LOVE to see the Steelers take this one!
